George Washington’s Birthday Luncheon
Compatriots and Friends of the SAR,
We gathered together on February 20th to celebrate the birthday of our first President, George Washington. As was said in his eulogy, he was “the first in war- the first in peace- and the first in the hearts of his countrymen….

Our distinguished speaker was William Federer, who spoke on his topic of “An American Minute” and “Miracles in American History”.

The Color Guard made up of members of both the Patrick Henry and Alexander Hamilton Chapters posted and Retired the Colors,

and members of the Sybil Lundington CAR Chapter read “The American’s Creed”
