TexShare Database is free to Texas residents. Through the TexShare Database, you can access `Heritage Quest Online` which will give access to the U.S. Federal Census Records, PERSI, Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty-Land Warrant Application Files, family & local histories, and the Freedman’s Bank. To get access to this database, go to your local library or the State Archives, Genealogy Section and apply. You will need your Texas driver’s license. It takes only a few minutes and the staff at the library will give you a login and password.
