Wreaths Across America (2020)

To ensure the safety of our community, our WAA ceremony will be virtual and posted on Sat, 12/19 at 11am CST on our Facebook page. Given the Covid-19 restrictions, updated last week, we made modifications to our event plans to ensure the safety of all who participate. Masks and social distancing are required for all volunteers who attend on Friday Dec. 18th for the placement of the Wreaths. The Truck will arrive on Thursday Dec. 17th. We will be unloading the Wreaths at 8AM on Dec. 18th. Stu Hoyt and I will arrive at 8AM and will have a table set up by the East Gate.

All of our Patrick Henry Chapter Volunteers will be arriving between 10AM and 12 Noon and will work placing the 3,600 Wreaths for 1 hour. Sadly, the limited slots that we had for wreath placements are full. However, if you’d be interested in assisting with wreath pickups on Wed, 12/30, from 10am-noon, please contact the volunteer Location Coordinator at waa25austin@gmail.com, or if you have a grave specific request.
